Hack Your Course: BIOC2580 + BIOC3560
Tips for BIOC2580 + BIOC3560. Developed by an SLG leader, and approved by faculty.
Prepare for Labs: Make sure to read through the lab manual and understand what you need to do before going to a lab.
Amino Acids: Amino acids are the basis of many concepts in both BIOC2580 and BIOC3560, so get familiar with them early.
Practice Questions: One of the best ways to study for BIOC is to do practice questions.
Create Flashcards: Develop Flashcards for key concepts and terms. Use the flashcards to test yourself and as a study tool when reviewing course material in a group setting.
Skeleton Pathways: It can be difficult to remember the many reactions and pathways when all you do is read them, so print off blank copies to practice drawing and writing them out.
Study Early: There's a lot of material in BIOC classes, so make sure to keep up with the material from the beginning.
