This short Library video will show you how to create and format an APA style Reference List.

Where does the Reference List go? The Reference List goes at the end of your paper.
What does the Reference List include?
It should include sources that you’ve cited in your assignment. Do not include items in your Reference List if you have not cited them in your assignment.
What should the Reference List look like? It needs to be on a new, separate page.
The title should be 'References.' Centre it at the top of the page. Make the title bold, but do not underline, italicize, or use quotation marks for it.
[The word References is capitalized and appears in black text]
List your sources alphabetically by the author’s last name. Authors should be listed by last name, first initials.
[The sources listed on the References page are in the same font, size, and colour as the title, but are not bolded. The list of sources begins 3 lines down from the title]
Make sure that your references are double-spaced throughout, just like your essay. There should be no extra spaces between entries.
All lines after the first line of each entry must be indented. Use a hanging indent to format all of the sources.
Refer to the APA style guide to format different types of references.
